Van Cleef & Arpels invites visitors to a playful stroll through the Perlée® collection universe in Busan, South Korea
July 1, 2024
From July 2nd to 28th, 2024, the Maison opens a pop-up at Shinsegae Centum City to celebrate the launch of the new Perlée® creations. Visitors are invited to stroll among the sculptural installations of French artist Arthur Hoffner. Since its first collaboration with Van Cleef & Arpels in 2018, the designer has imagined playful decors where totems of geometric shapes and windows animated by moving spheres meet. These generous volumes are inspired by the graphic lines of the Perlée® collection, launched in 2008. It features the golden bead, an emblematic motif of Van Cleef & Arpels since the 1920s, in creations sometimes in gold, sometimes set with precious or ornamental stones. Combining with each other to create endless associations, the pieces reflect the Maison’s inventiveness, its heritage and the excellence of its savoir-faire.
The pop-up will present Perlée® novelties, including the Perlée® diamonds 5-row bracelets, the Perlée® diamonds duo rings, and the Perlée® diamonds earrings. These creations are embellished with the radiance of yellow, rose, or white gold and the shimmer of diamonds. Masterfully chosen and set, the gems create intense plays of light against the skin. These new pieces will be accompanied by creations from Van Cleef & Arpels’ patrimonial Collection, like the Twist bracelet from 1965, the Signet ring from 1977, and the Tartelette ring from 1997.
Passing through the Ferris wheel installation, the labyrinth, the Plinko and the hourglass games, visitors are invited to explore the collection in an amusing and immersive way.
