The Maison's luck motif radiates in the Alhambra® pop-up of Wuhan

June 8, 2023

Vintage Alhambra® long necklace, guilloché rose gold, carnelian. Van Cleef & Arpels

From June 12th to 24th, the luck motif radiates in the Heartland 66 pop-up. For this occasion, the Maison displays four new creations of the Alhambra® collection.

The four-leaf-motif leads to four different rooms, respectively representing: the origin of luck, the timeless icon and the new creations of the Alhambra® collection, and finally the excellence and know how of the Maison. The visitors are invited to dive into a poetic and enchanting atmosphere, redolent of a lucky dreamland, and appreciate the Maison’s positive vision of life.

The Alhambra® collection has taken on a broad palette of natural materials and adopted a variety of symbols, colors and different-sized motifs to constantly renewed itself. The Alhambra® ring and long necklace of the 1970s were adorned with materials like yellow gold, coral, lapis lazuli or malachite. Over the years, this collection has given rise to innovative interpretations, highlighting rare and precious materials.

Perpetuating this tradition, the collection is enriched today with an unprecedented design: a ring fashioned with a reversible motif. This piece features two sides made from different materials: carnelian, and guilloché rose gold set with a diamond. A Vintage Alhambra® bracelet, a long necklace, as well as a Sweet Alhambra® watch complete the collection. In keeping with Van Cleef & Arpels’ tradition of excellence, the Alhambra® collection embodies all the expertise of a High Jewelry Maison. The various skills of lapidaries, jewelers, stone-setters and polishers come together to give birth to each piece.
