Alhambra® collection in the
    “Magical Yellow Butterfly” movie


    Since its inception in 1968, the Alhambra motif has become a symbol of luck and refinement for women all over the world, as well as in Japan.

    This movie called “Magical Yellow Butterfly” tells the story of a magical yellow butterfly and a dreaming girl, embodied by the International model Willow Hand, who is enchanted by the Alhambra icon. The young girl follows the magical butterfly and discovers 17 pieces of the Alhambra collection, including watches. The movie takes one on a journey through the enchanting world of Van Cleef & Arpels, and reveal the Alhambra motif in various sizes and materials in a poetic setting.

    To create this movie, the Maison has welcomed fashion stylist, Mr. Satoshi Hirota as a creative director, and Mr. Koichiro Tsujikawa, as film director. Mr. Satoshi Hirota was also in charge of styling and visual direction in the production of Alhambra tie-up advertisement with Vogue Japan in 2006.
