From November 15 to 26, 2022 Van Cleef & Arperls celebrate its iconic Alhambra® collection. The Maison has imagined an exhibition held at City Square on the 4th Floor in Taipei 101 Shopping Mall. 

The space is inspired by four-leaf clovers and composed of four parts: a clover garden with flying butterflies, a lakeside with swans lingering at night, a forest with birds playing in winter, and a snowy landscape with foxes chasing one another. The guests are invited into the garden, wandering in a wintery atmosphere, and exploring the dreamlike Alhambra® garden of luck together.  

As an emblem of Van Cleef & Arpels, the Alhambra® pop-up reflects all the expertise of a High Jewelry Maison. From lapidaries to jewelers and from stone-setters to polishers, each piece calls on a wide variety of skills. For the first time in Taiwan, China, creations of the Heritage Collection of the 1970s will be showcased, including a 1973 Alhambra® long necklace with 20 motifs, set with yellow gold and malachite, as well as a 1976 Alhambra® long necklace with 20 motifs, set with yellow gold and coral.

Each year Van Cleef & Arpels enriches the Alhambra® collection with new creations remaining faithful to the fluidity and elegance of its design, and selecting a variety of finest materials, such as white or grey mother-of-pearl, onyx, carnelian, malachite, tiger's eye, diamonds, or even bois d'amourette.

A series of new pieces made their entry in this iconic collection. A long necklace, a bracelet, a pendant, a ring and a pair of earrings in guilloché white gold. The sunbeam-like streaks bestow a subtle relief on the surface of the gold, intensifying the flow of light. True to the original style of the Alhambra® collection, each motif features a beaded contour echoing a central bead in white gold.
