Both elegant and ingenious, these pieces are a tribute to Art Deco. The era bears the mark of Renée Puissant, Alfred Van Cleef and Estelle Arpels' daughter. As the Maison's Artistic Director from 1926, she shapes the style of these decades with the help of talented Designer René Sim Lacaze.

Stepping away from the world of Art Nouveau, which favored a realistic depiction of flowering ornaments, Art Deco takes the stage in the 1910s. Embracing the purity of geometric shapes and stylized forms, this undoubtedly modern approach signals the start of a new age of elegance.

It is 1934, and the world of couture joins the world of jewelry, resulting in the creation of the first Ludo™ bracelets. It is named after one of the founders of the Maison, Louis Arpels, whose very nickname, Ludo, lives on in this iconic creation, reminding of a belt.
