Feminine figures

The graceful fairies

Whimsical and benevolent, the fairies first entered the universe of Van Cleef & Arpels at the beginning of the 1940s. Their magical presence and winged silhouette have since then accompanied the Maison's history.

Lady Féerie

A protective muse and symbol of feminity, Lady Féerie watches over the Poetry of Time in her sapphire and diamond dress.

Watchmaking, jewelry and traditional craft skills have come together to bring this poetic scene to life.
Depicted by a diamond, the fairies' face
forms a dazzling contrast with the bluish tones of the sky, in guilloché
mother-of-pearl. Thanks to the combination of plique-à-jour and grisaille enamel, these tones also adorn her translucent wings in a delicate effect of depth.

Seated on a cloud of iridescent white mother-of-pearl, this feminine figure points out the minutes with her magic wand; meanwhile, the Moon harbors the passing hours in a window of mother-of-pearl, haloed by a gentle glow.
