Fragrances First

First marks Van Cleef & Arpels’ debut in perfumery. Composed in 1976 by master perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena, it illustrates the Maison's dedication to gracing its customers with the finest materials nature has to offer. This fragrance, which has become emblematic over the years, is one of the first perfumes ever developed by a jeweler.

First

First Eau de Parfum

As radiant as it is elegant, First showcases a generous floral bouquet. Jasmine, rose, tuberose, carnation and iris sparkle in contact with the citrus notes and aldehydes that imbue them with timeless elegance.

Featuring a refined silhouette, the bottle of First evokes a precious pendant and its airy jump ring. A loving nod to High Jewelry, its aesthetic will later inspire the Valenciennes earrings which are nowadays known as Snowflake.
