As a chapter in the High Jewelry collection Bals de Légende, the Black & White Ball evokes the memorable ball hosted by the writer Truman Capote in New York in 1966. Inspired by that legendary event, Van Cleef & Arpels has created the Black & White colored set with two unique type 2A DIF diamonds of 20.65 and 20.13 carats.
These briolette-cut diamonds are detachable so that these earrings can be worn for any occasion. This set, comprised of white gold, onyx, and diamonds, is inspired by the elegance of the swan and alludes to the nickname that Capote used to give his close female friends. He affectionately would call them “my swans”, in reference to their beauty and grace.
