Une Journée à Paris collection

To mark its centenary, Van Cleef & Arpels paid homage to the place where the Maison’s history began. Une Journée à Paris™ is not just a collection of exquisite jewelry, but an ode - in gold and precious stones - to a magical city, aptly nicknamed City of Light.

The High Jewelry collection is an invitation to take a unique promenade down the elegant streets of Paris, which includes the Jardin des Tuileries, the Ile de le Cité, the Avenue Montaigne, the Eiffel Tower, the Opera Garnier, and the Place Vendôme, birthplace of the Maison. It was here, at number 22, that Alfred Van Cleef and Charles Arpels opened their original boutique in 1906.

It is an ode - in gold and precious stones - to a magical city.

The square rapidly became synonymous with sophistication and an unmistakably French blend of simplicity and classicism. It was a style embodied by Hélène Arpels, wife of Charles’s brother Louis, who was internationally renowned for her elegance and refinement.

Over the years, the Maison has created several historic pieces inspired by the city of Paris. Today, it devotes an entire collection of high jewelry and watches to the birthplace of the Maison. Une Journée à Paris captivates with its dazzling array of diamonds, rubies – some of them in Mystery Set™ – sapphires, and garnets.  Together, they offer a fitting tribute to the unique spirit and beauty of Paris.
