The green wax sculpture

Like most of the High Jewelry pieces, the Princesse Danica clip is initially made in the form of a green wax sculpture. This allows the craftsmen to interpret the shape of the piece and define its lines in detail, and serves as a guide for the stone-setting. This stage requires between six and eight weeks of work for the model-maker.
