The Lady Arpels Poème Rose watch draws its inspiration from Guillaume Colletet’s "La Rose" or "The Rose", an extract from La Guirlande de Julie (Julie’s Garland), a French love poems manuscript from the 17th century. The Persian Empire is considered to be the region of origin of the rose. It is pictured on the dial by a traditional persian architectural element.
