Van Cleef & Arpels celebrates the coming of spring with artist Alexandre Benjamin Navet
From April 11th to May 12th, in collaboration with French artist Alexandre Benjamin Navet, the Marunouchi Area Management Association and the Maison will transform Marunouchi Nakadori Avenue, into an immersive space filled with vibrantly blooming flowers. The colorful installations created by Navet will rouse the poetic sensibilities of visitors of all ages and invite them into a magical garden emerging in the heart of the city, Marunouchi Street Park.
In 2021, the Maison filled its boutique on New York’s Fifth Avenue with fresh flowers, reinforcing the emotional impact the plants can have and the vitality and joy of life. Then in 2022, it presented “Fifth Avenue Blooms imagined by Van Cleef & Arpels”, a very special experience evoking the breath of spring that was based on the artwork of Alexandre Benjamin Navet.
In 2024, Van Cleef & Arpels is extending this initiative to other cities, including Tokyo. To celebrate the 2024 arrival of this season so dear to the Maison, it has collaborated with Alexandre Benjamin Navet to create a magical world that gives visitors a dream-like impression. They can stroll through an open sketchbook in the historical and cultural center of the city: Marunouchi Nakadori.

Alexandre Benjamin Navet has brought a world of color to life on the facades of Van Cleef & Arpels boutiques around the world, including Paris, New York, Dubai and Tokyo. From Thursday, 11 April to Sunday, 12 May, his stunning designs will be featured along the entire length of Tokyo’s Marunouchi Nakadori for the enjoyment of those passing by. The artist's trademark pastel drawings that showcase vivid colors and energetic lines are transformed into large sculptures, arches, benches, pergolas and other objects, along with real flowers in pots and flower beds, to create an immersive experience.

Workshops with Alexandre Benjamin Navet
As part of the Spring celebration, visitors can enjoy collage and bouquet-making workshops throughout the event. For a limited time, a pop-up boutique will be opened, offering a space to experience the overflowing vitality and delicate beauty of the flowers depicted by the Maison through its creations.
