Candidate Experience

At Van Cleef & Arpels, immersion begins with the recruitment process and we wish to give every candidate a unique experience.

Recruitment is a collaborative process. It involves people from various departments and management levels, emphasizing the close cooperation between Human Resources and all other teams.

The different stages of the recruitment process:

  1. 1. Submission of your application via our career website, our LinkedIn or our job platforms.

  2. 2. Pre-screening interview with the recruitment team. After reviewing your application, if your profile meets our expectations, an initial meeting will be arranged with the recruitment team to discuss your current professional situation, availability and salary aspirations.
  3.
  4. 3. Interview with Human Resources. The Human Resources team will then meet you to discuss your background and your motivation to join the Maison. At Van Cleef & Arpels, competencies and soft skills are equally important as we are looking for unique personalities connected with our Maison values and culture.

  5. 4. Interview with the line manager. If the Human Resources approve your application, the line manager will meet with you to discuss the skills and aptitudes required for the role. This is an opportunity to share your vision and assess how well your profile complements the team. This stage may also include the presentation of a case study, as well as behavioral and cognitive assessments.

  6. 5. Final stage. Regardless of the outcome of these interviews, you will receive personalized feedback on your recruitment process. If your hiring process is successful, you will receive an offer, along with an overview of the various benefits provided by the Maison.

Induction program

Induction Program

The induction program is key to the success and well-being of any newcomer joining the Maison. The induction program is personalized for each team member.

An induction schedule is prepared a few days prior to the new comer's arrival. This provides an opportunity for the team member to meet key colleagues and better understand their functions and duties.

The trial period is a key step. Several meetings with the Human Resources team and the Manager are held to set the trial period’s targets but also to gain an insight into the team member’s impressions and answer any questions. Dialog is ongoing throughout the trial period to ensure successful integration. An informal meeting with the Human Resources team allows the newcomer to identify their role within the Maison.

Newcomers also take part in a two-day induction course aiming at giving the team member a comprehensive overview of the Maison. It also includes a visit to the Maison’s High Jewelry Workshops.

As part of this induction process, newcomers also attend a range of courses at L'ECOLE, School of Jewelry Arts. The aim of these courses is to develop knowledge and kindle curiosity about craftsmanship and the history of jewelry overall.
