Since 1907, Van Cleef & Arpels has celebrated spring with its flowers inspired by recognizable or imaginary species.
Since its creation, the Maison has been inspired by flowers, recreating their lightness and fine vitality through jewels. With careful observation of nature’s proportions and colors, Van Cleef & Arpels captures the grace of these ever renewing marvels.
Craftmen combine jewelry craftsmanship with exceptional stones to exalt the beauty of flowers. Rubies, emeralds, colored sapphires, tourmalines and mother-of-pearl embellish bouquets and corollas. Take a stroll through their enchanted garden, a true wonder to the eyes.
Van Cleef & Arpels’ flowers bloom in hundreds of forms and variations. Realistic or stylized, they blossom in the neckline, in the hair, or on the hand.
Drawing inspiration from two cherished sources, nature and couture, Van Cleef & Arpels imagines flowers whose contours are drawn by a thread of gold. Thus, the Silhouette clip unfolds with lightness. The intensity of diamonds, rubies, or sapphires is enhanced by the reflections of the mirror-polished gold. This creation, combining stylization and movement, also inspired the Maison to create the Flowerlace collection, whose motifs, imbued with vitality, seem to recreate the suppleness of a precious ribbon.
Forever enchanted by the vitality of nature, Van Cleef & Arpels captures the grace of flowers through shimmering compositions with generous proportions. In the 1930s, the Passe-Partout jewels and Bouquet clips introduced precious corollas adorned with gold foliage. This aesthetic is perpetuated to this day with the Fleurs d'Hawaï collection. The jewelry and watchmaking creations showcase five varieties of precious stones, evoking a nature filled with sunshine.
