Van Cleef & Arpels boutique in Geneva celebrates the time of flowers with an augmented reality disposal, Van Cleef & Arpels

Through this experience, users are invited to contemplate the dial animation of the Lady Arpels Heures Florales® watch, to manipulate it in 3D and thus to experiment the poetic interpretation of the passage of time.

A tribute to the nature that has fascinated Van Cleef & Arpels’ ever since 1906, the Lady Arpels Heures Florales® Cerisier watch draws inspiration from the floral clock concept, developed by Carl Linnaeus in his 1751 book Philosophia Botanica. Reinterpreting his hypothetical garden, the watch’s animation shows a nature in movement, inspired by the cycle of flowers opening and closing depending on the time of the day. Time is told by counting the number of opened flowers, with a new combination renewing the dial's scenery every 60 minutes.
