From September 20th to November 4th, 2024, Van Cleef & Arpels invites visitors to stroll between the sculptural installations of artist Arthur Hoffner at La Samaritaine in Paris. Since its first collaboration with Van Cleef & Arpels in 2018, the designer has created playful decors where totems of geometric shapes meet showcases animated by moving spheres. These generous volumes draw their inspiration from the graphic lines of the Perlée® collection, launched by the Maison in 2008. This collection features the gold pearl, an emblematic Van Cleef & Arpels motif, adorning creations that are sometimes in gold, sometimes set with precious or ornamental stones.

Combining to reveal infinite combinations, the pieces reflect the inventiveness of the Maison, its heritage and the excellence of its jewelry savoir-faire.

"There has been quite a seamless and natural connection between my work and the spirit of this collection, sharing a sense of lightness and joy. I approach the sphere almost as if it’s a character with a personality that is interacting with the decor", explains Arthur Hoffner.
