The jewelry professions in the spotlight
A Living Heritage company with a long-standing commitment to the transmission of jewelry savoir-faire, Van Cleef & Arpels renews the « de Mains en mains » program dedicated to young people and the general public.
The seventh edition of "de Mains en mains" will take place from November 21st to 28th, 2026, at the InterContinental Lyon – Hotel Dieu, in the heart of a region that boasts a strong artisanal culture.
Participants will be able to attend a Parcours des Savoir-faire (The Savoir-faire Pathways) with professional jewelry experts, as well as classes, conferences and workshops offered by L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts. They will also discover a brand-new exhibition of heritage and contemporary creations by Van Cleef & Arpels.
This initiative reflects the Maison's commitment to new generations and those seeking professional retraining, with the aim of bringing the jewelry professions to as many people as possible.
The Savoir-faire Pathways
The Parcours des Savoir-faire (The Savoir-faire Pathways) is a key part of the program, held annually during the editions of "de Mains en mains". The craftsmen share their training, their day-to-day experience and their passion with groups of students. They get the opportunity to try their hands at several specialized gestures such as setting, polishing or jewelry work.
The Savoir-faire Pathways are also open to the general public, upon reservation, on the weekends. Everyone can attend to craftsmen’s interactive demonstrations of savoir-faire. An orientation area, organized by the Human Resources team from Van Cleef & Arpels, presents training courses and career opportunities in jewelry.
