Van Cleef & Arpels boutique in Geneva celebrates the time of flowers with an augmented reality disposal, Van Cleef & Arpels

Through this experience, users are invited to contemplate the dial animation of the Lady Arpels Heures Florales watch, to manipulate it in 3D and thus to experiment the poetic interpretation of the passage of time.

A tribute to the nature that has fascinated Van Cleef & Arpels’ ever since 1906, the Lady Arpels Heures Florales Cerisier watch draws inspiration from the floral clock concept, developed by Carl Linnaeus in his 1751 book Philosophia Botanica. Reinterpreting his hypothetical garden, the watch’s animation shows a nature in movement, inspired by the cycle of flowers opening and closing depending on the time of the day. Time is told by counting the number of opened flowers, with a new combination renewing the dial's scenery every 60 minutes.
