From April 9th to September 6th, 2024, the exhibition "Le Temps Poétique selon Van Cleef & Arpels" highlights the Maison's jewelry timepieces. Twelve creations realised between 1920 and the 2000s, from the Van Cleef & Arpels Collection, as well as seventeen precious archival documents, are revealed in the Geneva boutique, located at 31 rue du Rhône in Geneva, Switzerland.

Combining jewelry aesthetic and watchmaking expertise, these precious timepieces bear witness to the important place of horology in the history of Van Cleef & Arpels. From the chatelaine of the 1920s to the Poetic Complications of the 2000s, all illustrate the vision of time imbued with enchantment dear to the Maison. 

Certain models such as the Cadenas (1935), Ludo (1937) or PA49 (1949) have become emblematic pieces of Van Cleef & Arpels' watchmaking creation, still reinterpreted to this day.

With each collection, the Maison has remained true to its main sources of inspiration, developing new mechanisms through the Poetic Complications and automatons.

The “Poetry of Time by Van Cleef & Arpels” exhibition invites visitors to discover the jewels that tell time, and to explore the poetic universe of the Maison.
