The Bouton d'or® collection is inspired by the curved lines of the Sequins motif, cherished by Van Cleef & Arpels since the 1930s. Diamonds, gold and ornamental stones come together on bold pieces.

The collection calls for careful selection and matching of the motifs
The gold motifs and jewelry structure are worked by hand, before undergoing successive stages of polishing
With their glittering centers, the motifs spread out across different levels, in triple rows or joyful circles
With rounded and graphic lines, the Bouton d’or collection finds its origins in the Sequins motif, initially introduced by the Maison in 1936 on necklaces and clips. Reminiscent of the sequins that were fashionable in the 1930s, it featured a yellow gold pastille with a precious stone set at its center.
